Privacy
What this site stores and what it does not.
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and embeds no content from other servers. Fonts, images, maps and 3D models come from our own server.
To deliver the pages, our server processes your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, the referring page and your browser's identifier. These details are kept in an access log that is deleted after 14 days at the latest. They serve only the secure operation of the website and the defence against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
The website runs on our server in a data centre of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. Requests reach it through Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), which protects the website against attacks and delivers it faster. For this, Cloudflare processes your IP address and the request. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Some features remember your choices in your browser's storage (localStorage): the quality level of the 3D map, and your plans in the Legacy and character planners. These details stay on your device and are not sent to us. They are stored only when you use the feature in question, and you can delete them in your browser at any time. The legal basis is § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG, as storing them is strictly necessary for the feature you asked for.
Source notes link to other websites, such as the Blizzard forums, GitHub or fan sites. Only when you follow such a link does that provider receive your data; it is responsible for it itself.
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, erased or its processing restricted, and to receive it in a portable format (Art. 15 to 18 and 20 GDPR). Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you may object (Art. 21 GDPR). An email to the address in the imprint is enough.
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one responsible for us, the Independent Data Protection Centre of Saarland.
